  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Aquatic Supervisor, Aquatic Attendants are responsible for assisting Aquatic Lifeguards & Swim Instructors during recreational swims and instructional lessons.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of patrons using the slide, you will also assist with customer service, public education, swimming regulations and responsible for maintaining clean change rooms and pool deck areas.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 15 years of age
    • Lifesaving Society - Bronze Cross Certification
    • Ability to perform rescue skills at or above the Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross standard
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal effectively and courteously
    • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certificate
    • You are a team player that possesses strong organization and communication skills, as well as, the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Your ability to provide excellent customer service in a patient and professional manner is essential to your success in this role
    • You demonstrate Richmond Hill’s corporate values of care, collaboration, courage and service
    • Ability to work flexible hours outside of normal working hours
    • Successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory police Vulnerable Sector Screening upon appointment
