Reporting to the Supervisor, Water Revenue, the Meter Analyst will be responsible for managing and coordinating water meter installation, repairs and replacements and updating the water database as required. You will administer weekly final billings, manual and cancel bills and adjustments, and will be responsible for administering all lettering campaigns relating to metering issues. You will work closely with our contractor to provide work order data related to water meter repairs, replacements and installations, and prepare maps and drawings using Google Maps and OnPoint tools. The Meter Analyst will also provide customer service to the public, including arranging appointments, collecting payments, resolving disputes, and education regarding water meter related matters.
Your College Diploma in Business, Communications or related discipline is complemented by two (2) years' experience in a related field. The successful candidate has a strong technical working knowledge of water meters, and demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office Suite and mapping software. You possess well-developed organizational and time management skills, demonstrate initiative, accountability and adaptability, and your strong communication and customer service skills enable you to effectively handle demanding and difficult client service situations. In this fast-paced environment, you will be required to multitask on an ongoing basis and work with minimal supervision within established practices and procedures.
