40-Hour Work Week
Reporting to the Manager, Facility Maintenance and Repair, you will provide strong leadership and expert guidance to staff by following the Town's core values of Care, Collaboration, Courage, and Service. Under management direction, you will provide supervision, and co-ordinate daily department activities including responding to demand work orders in all Town facilities, and addressing minor capital projects. You will also be responsible for overseeing the after-hours emergency on-call coverage of all Town facilities. Duties and responsibilities will also include:
Your 3-year College diploma in Engineering or Architectural Technology is complemented by a minimum of three years of related facility operations experience in a supervisory capacity. A Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation, trade license in HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical, Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Building Environmental Systems (BES) Operator would be considered an asset.
